After the update, the iPhone remote keyboard notification comes to my iPhone 7 Plus screen when I go to a search box in Apple TV. However, when I type something on the phone, nothing is being typed on the TV.

I use Apple TV remote keyboard on the connected iPhone to comfortably input text on my Apple TV. But for the past few days, I had been getting random popups on my device to input text. Annoyed by the repeated alerts, I decided to put an end to it. After trying out several unsuccessful tricks, I came to know one pretty simple solution that allowed me to stop Apple TV remote keyboard from popping up on my iPhone.
The remote keyboard works when your iPhone and Apple TV are connected with the same iCloud and are using the same Wi-Fi network. You will get an alert on your device to enter text whenever you select a text field on your TV. If you are using the same iCloud account on your other device, you will get the text input alert on that device as well. Just in case, you don’t want to use this feature anymore or simply wish to keep those repeated notifications away, check out this simple trick to stop Apple TV remote keyboard input pop-ups on iPhone and iPad.

How to Turn Off Apple TV Remote Keyboard on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iOS device which you have paired with your Apple TV.
Step #2. Next, you need to scroll down and tap on Notifications.
Step #3. Now, tap on Apple TV Keyboard.
Step #4. Finally, you have to turn off the switch next to Allow Notifications.
That’s it!
